Book #1 was first published in 1908 as a non-series book as well as part of the Character and Wisdom Series. Beginning in 1904 Books #2 and #3 were part of the Character and Wisdom Series. In 1909 the series was initially published as a three book set. Book #4 was added in 1912.

Books 1 and 4 are Caldwell first editions.
