H. M. Caldwell Co. published this series beginning in 1904. It continually published the set until 1913. In 1904 #1-23 were printed. #24 was added in 1905. In 1908 #25 was added. In 1910 all 26 volumes were published.

There are no illustrations.

There were two formats in each year. One of the formats was in cloth whereas the other was in calf or pigskin. The cloth formats changed yearly.

Several books have been seen within this series that cannot be dated. They are below.

1904-1905-1906-1908
Limp ooze calf tied with a ribbon. Boxed Parti-Illuminated sides. 5" x 7"

1909-1910-1911-1912
Limp Pigskin tied with a ribbon. Boxed Cloth. Lithographed paper sides many colors and gold 5" x 7"

 

Dust jacket for the cloth bound books for all years.

 

1904-1905
Various colors on the left half of the cover. There were a number of non-book specific color illustrations on the right half of the cover. 7.5” x 5"

1907
Cloth with multiple color floral designs which surround a picture within a oval circular form 7.5” x 5”. A number of different floral designs and pictures have been noted.

 

1908
Cloth. Lithographed paper cover. Picture within picture frame is non book specific. 7.5” x 5”.
The picture frame has a white border

 

1909
Cloth. Lithographed paper cover. Picture within picture frame is non book specific. 7.5” x 5”.
(The frame has a web like pattern on the periphery)

 

1910
Cloth. Lithographed paper cover. Picture within picture frame is non book specific. Cover has vertical and horizontal gilt lines. 7.5” x 5”.

 

1911
Cloth. Lithographed paper covers. Locations and shapes of the picture frame vary as do the decorative floral patterns. 7.5" x 5”
(The picture frame has what looks like punched out holes on it.)

 

1912-1913
Cloth. Lithographed paper cover. Various colors. Floral decoration surrounds non-book specific picture within a rectangle. The picture frame is enclosed within a gilt pattern which is the same for all the books.
The location on the cover of the rectangular picture can vary. The cover decorations have also been seen in a number of different patterns. 7.5” x 5”.

 

1904-1905
