Any title in any of the six formats can be seen
with any of the right sided pictures/appliques. Presently only a small
number of possible right sided pictures/appliques for Formats #2-6 are
shown.
Format 1 - Left Vellum with gold gilt box within
which is the gold gilt title. Right cover has a large oval within which
is one of four illustrated people. Surrounding the oval is a squiggly
line drawn pattern. End papers are light green with pictures of girls
wearing hats. Dust jacket has title and series name on plain brown
paper. 7.50 x 5.25 (1901-1902)
Format 2 - The same #1 but the pictures are changed and there is no
oval. 1903-05
Format 3 - The same as #1,2 but there the picture on the right is
within a circular decoration. 1906
Format 4 - Front cover has illustrated applique-either large (5.75 x
3.50 or smaller 3 x 4). See pictures below. By 1908 the endpapers had a
printed red bookplate. 1907-1909
Format 5 - Illustrated 3 x 6 applique. Editha Series noted in small
heart at upper right of the cover. Red bookmark endpaper 1910
Format 6 - Series name above and title below a 4.5 x 5.5 applique. Red
bookmark endpaper. Artistic illustrated dust wrapper. 1910-1913
Series Notes:
1. Books were added during certain years. In addition there were a few
deletions and additions as the years went by.

2. In 1907 the first changes are noted. Books #4a,5a,6a,12a,17a and 22a
are added to the series while #4,5,6,9,11,12,17,22 are deleted.
3. In 1908 #9a and 11a are added such that there is now an unbroken run
from #1-30.
4. In 1913 this series was renumbered and now included only 32 volumes.
